Folk Dance Ensemble Zvezditza was established in 1994 in Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria.
In Bulgarian “Zvezditza” means little star.
Over 120 students (from 5 to 65 years old) learn Bulgarian folk dances in the groups of the ensemble every year.
Zvezditza's dance programs are an exquisite performance – a bouquet of children’s charm, youthful flame and adult experience. Solo and group pieces tell captivating stories of movement and color, past and present, tradition and continuity. Live music with diverse, colorful rhythms never fails to move the heart and invigorate the soul. The talented and passionate musicians of Zvezditza’s orchestra weave enchanting melodies and inspire a desire to join the dance.
